Konami (コナミ) is a video game company. It was founded on March 21, 1969 in Osaka, Japan by Kagemasa Kozuki.
Konami began publishing games for Japanese computers in December 1983. After the release of Policenauts in July 1994, Konami wouldn't publish Japanese PC games for two years.
